DiasporaCON is a one-of-a-kind gathering in New Haven, CT that celebrates the rich intersection of comic book culture, education, and Black and Brown representation in the graphic novel world. Blending the community energy of a comic convention with the insight of an industry conference, DiasporaCON uplifts stories from the diaspora and beyond through panels, workshops, and conversations with artists, writers, educators, and fans. This annual one-day event is a vibrant space for learning, connection, and creativity; where art meets activism, fandom meets scholarship, and the next generation of storytellers find their voice.
